Let’s get into the interview with Stephanie!

Describe your biggest win at CSS ProSearch.

In 2017 I was awarded the Donna Pearson Award, the most prestigious award at CSS. It was extra special because this was the first year we started announcing awards at our holiday party, so my husband was able to witness it. I was so shocked and (for the first time in my life) speechless. I’ll always remember that night.

What made you want to join the CSS ProSearch team?

During my interview process, Abby met with me after hours on multiple days and answered my endless questions. It was really important for my next role to be a perfect fit and I didn’t want to rush into making a bad decision. I recognized during this process that Abby would be someone who worked just as hard as anyone on her team, and I really respected that.

What culturally stands out about CSS ProSearch that breeds success?

We’re a very supportive company. You know you can take a risk and possibly fail at something and your team will support you as you pick yourself back up. Companies grow when they can take chances and try new ideas, we’re able to do that safely here.

What has been your favorite experience thus far working at CSS ProSearch?

The year our entire team hit President’s club was amazing! I was so proud of our new hires who all worked really hard to get there. Seeing them achieve it in their first year was wonderful and it’s really set a tone for everyone since.

What’s a quote to live by and why does it matter to you?

Not so much a quote, but more of a mindset. Forgive and don’t hold on to grudges. While some people or situations can be frustrating or upsetting, holding onto that negativity doesn’t do you any good. My general belief is that the average person isn’t out to hurt others, so forgive them and move on! No reason to waste your energy being mad.

Favorite TV show?

I have to go with EARLY Grey’s Anatomy. While these later seasons are ROUGH, the first 5-10 seasons are pure tv gold and I’ll argue with anyone who disagrees. The soundtrack alone was fantastic.

What’s something unique about you that we may not know?

Everyone will probably think it’s a comment about food or travel, but I was a band/theater kid. I play bass, alto and b flat clarinet, was in jazz band, was Drum Major for the marching band and was in every musical when I was younger. I’m still a huge theater buff and the Wicked soundtrack is my go-to driving playlist.
